Topic - WMV plays on Mac Pro but not mini

I am running Leopard on my Mac Pro and Mplayer plays WMV's just fine. I am running Tiger on my Mac Mini and Mplayer not only won't play WMV's but I have to force quit the application if I mistakenly try to play a WMV. Is there a codec that I need? Is is because I am running Tiger and not Leopard?
