Topic - dsize / no playbar

To avoid overscan on my tv I start up mplayer with these options:
-fs -display :0.1 -vf dsize=1880:1051:0,expand=0:-20:0:0

This works fine for the overscan, but I don't have a playbar and I miss it.
I have it on my first monitor when I play something fullscreen but not on the tv and I suspect it's something to do with the -vf.

Any advice on how to get the playbar show up please?
