Topic - Can I route playing audio to microphone input rather than speaker output?

I would like to call my voicemail service with my VoIP phone and play the MP3 at the prompt. It would sound best if I could route the MP3 audio directly to my microphone input so it will go through the VoIP line. Otherwise, I would have to put my microphone up to my speakers, and that produces very low-quality audio.

Is it possible to route playing audio to my mic input?
