Topic - How to correct wrong aspect ratio in avi (divx) file?

Topic Starter tinuviel - Posted on Sunday, July 5 2009 10:43:53 AM: Hallo, I have some avi files (divx) in good quality with an anamorph aspect ratio, ripped 1:1 from dvd. Playing on video player like mplayer is no problem as the aspect can be switched on playback.

Is there a way to change the aspect ratio in the file itself without recoding the whole file, so it would play on a standard dvd player in the right aspect?
