Topic - Mplayer and sound from TV card

Topic Starter nobange - Posted on Saturday, November 28 2009 11:39:33 PM: I have analog TV card based on philips 7134 chip. I try to get sound directly from the card, using command: "mplayer tv://R9 alsa:device=hw=1.0:audiorate=32000:immediatemode=1" and there's no sound. I tryied many more combinations too, never got sound out of it. My OS is Opensuse 11.2. When I had Opensuse 11.0, above command worked for me. Now the only way to get sound from this card is "arecord -D hw:1,0 -r 32000 -c 2 -f S16_LE | aplay -". It seems something changed in Mplayer or in Alsa. Currently I have Mplayer 1.0rc2 and alsa 1.0. Could someone help me with this?
