Hey,

Try having yum install that particular library, that has worked for those kinds of errors for me in the past. I have a question for you:
You said you compiled it in FC4, but when I try it I get an error that says I have an invalid version of gcc. I think this is because FC4 comes with gcc4. How did you get around this?
